Soccer Foot Work Drill: The First Touch


  

 

This is a great drill for young soccer players.

This drill should be performed using the outside part of your foot.

1) Have each player throw the ball up in front of them and the first touch should be with the outside part of their foot. Have them practice 5 times with each foot.

2) Pair the players up and have them pass the ball to each other. The 2nd player should take the pass and the first touch should be with the outside part of the foot.
