In this video Ty Lawson shows us the commando drill. This is a great drill for basketball players of all ages.
2 chairs, or other obstacles should be placed on the court: One at center court and the other at the opposite foul line.
Player should start at the baseline and dribble straight at the first chair at center court. The chairs represent defenders and players should practice moves to get around the defenders.
After passing both defenders have players alternate between pulling up for jump shots and driving to the hoop for lay ups.
This is a good drill for a player to practice a crossover and the drill should be done at full speed.
